Mr. Milbert attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and computer science with a minor in economics in June 2000.

A prolific inventor and accomplished entrepreneur, Mr. Milbert founded Primordial in 2002 and has since secured more than $11M in United States Army, United States Marine Corps (USMC), United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), and United States Air Force (USAF) contracts. Mr. Milbert invented Ground Guidance in 2002 and has led its development since. Mr. Milbert has served as the principal investigator on 20 successful research and development efforts including developing a geographically enabled augmented reality system for dismounted soldiers, real-time route planning software for tactical and logistical vehicles, load-based routing, and visual navigation algorithms for soldiers in GPS-denied environments. Mr. Milbert has six issued and two pending patents for routing soldiers around combat obstacles, differentiating friend from foe in a head-mounted display (HMD), and providing turn-by-turn guidance during off-road navigation. In the last 15 years, Mr. Milbert has helped to found three companies, win the MIT $50K Entrepreneurship Competition, and raise $6.5M in venture capital.
