Scott Davis

Founder & CEO of Qonqr: The World. In Play

Scott is currently the CEO of QONQR (pronounced Conquer), a mobile gaming company focusing on location-based games. QONQR has been the winner to Startup Weekend, and finalist in the Minnesota Cup, SXSW Accelerator and MHTA Tekne awards.

Scott Davis has been an entrepreneur since 2001. Scott has been a software development consultant since 1999, working in a variety roles including Application Architect, Database Administrator, Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Business Strategy Consultant. Before starting his own consulting company, he held a position as District Manager at Fujitsu Consulting, managing as many as 50 direct reports across a seven state district. Before that, Scott was an Associate Partner in a smaller consulting company.

Scott holds an MBA in New Venture Management from the University of St Thomas in St Paul, MN. Scott has been a community leader, running both a technology user group and an entrepreneurship networking group for several years. Scott is also a member of the adjunct faculty at St Mary’s University in Minneapolis, teaching evening classes in the Information Technology Management master’s program.

Unique consulting engagements include performing technical due diligence as part of four corporate acquisition reviews for a publicly held company. He has also been contracted by Microsoft as a subject matter expert in software development.

Scott is a regional conference speaker, having spoken at over 50 conferences and events since 2010. Scott most often speaks on the topics of technology entrepreneurship, software development for mobile platforms, and gaming.
