Founder of Cognific and Anxiety in Teens

Speaker Bio

Ms. Solome Tibebu founded Cognific to provide structure, accountability and effectiveness for behavioral healthcare patients and providers. Prior to founding Cognific, Solome was Executive Director of Anxiety In Teens, the first online mental health magazine for youth and families.

Solome is the recipient of the SAMHSA National Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health Youth MOVE National Dare to Dream Award Recipient, Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health 2010 Outstanding Service Award, the first Ashoka YouthVenture Social Entrepreneur-In-Residence in Minnesota, and a National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) In Our Own Voices Spokesperson. Solome is a member of the Minnesota Psychological Association (MPA) Electronic Health Record Task Force. Solome speaks nationally to students, clinicians, educators and families about anxiety, health IT, and youth entrepreneurship. She has been recognized nationally for entrepreneurship and taking initiative to change mental healthcare today.
